Two Skiers Square Up in Whistler Lift Line

Whistler is known for its legendary terrain and endless pow days—but apparently, it also moonlights as a WWE fight club. This week, two skiers decided to spice up the lift line experience with a quick scrap.

The main event? A showdown between an old guy in orange pants and a younger dude in black pants. The reason? Who knows. Maybe black pants chirped orange pants’ jerry like style. Maybe orange pants had just had it with the long lines and needed to let off some steam. Either way, things escalated.

At first, it was just a couple of shoves—classic "hey bud, watch yourself" energy. But then, orange pants hit his boiling point and decided to start throwing hands. A quick lil knuckle chuck in the middle of a Whistler lift line. Absolute chaos.

Now, I’m not saying I condone ski brawls, but let’s be honest—lift lines can get painfully dull, and this little scuffle was exactly the kind of entertainment no one knew they needed. Old dude versus young buck? That’s prime-time content. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jake Paul’s people are already tracking down orange pants for an influencer boxing match. The guy clearly has some untapped pay-per-view potential.

Of course, there are always two sides to every story. Maybe orange pants had a legit reason to throw down. Maybe black pants deserved it. Maybe they were just battling over who called dibs on first chair tomorrow. We may never know. What we do know is that this was peak ski-town absurdity at its finest.

Skiing has always had its fair share of wild moments—yard sales, sketchy après decisions, and the occasional parking lot meltdown—but this? This was next-level. So, shoutout to Whistler for once again delivering quality entertainment. And to the next pair of skiers considering a mid-mountain MMA match—at least wait until after last chair.
